Dawn never used to eat the sandwiches her mum made her for school. One night she asked Dawn if she had enjoyed them and what they were Dawn said yes they were great and it turned out that Sheila had twigged and she just put two slices of bread together with no filling to catch her out. They had a good laugh about that too.

When she took Dawn and Sarah to the park she never sat and watched but always joined in with them on the swings and the witches had to name but a few. She was a big kid.

Sheila was very strict with Dawn about attending school however one of Dawn's best friends Gary was able to bunk off at her mums and help her out with the garden etc and when Dawn came home after school she was most put out!

Sheila was a massive part of Dawn's friends lives as well and was always in attendance for parties, weddings etc and her door was always open to them as well.

Wherever she went she always was full of fun and made people laugh. She even used to collect her pension and buy one of the staff cakes.

Since moving to South Road even though she was there for a short amount of time she met some amazing neighbours who became great friends and who could here her laugh from their flat windows. She was very much loved and part of the community.
